These are the top products on my holiday wish list.

Hi Bezzy!

For those who are new here or may not already know, my name is Jenny. I’m your Bezzy Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) guide! I have been living with psoriasis for about 18 years now and PsA for 4 years.

I’ve been the guide for Bezzy PsA since shortly after the very start of my journey with PsA, and I’ve met so many wonderful people — like you — through this special platform. I’m so grateful for all you have taught me and shared with me and that you’ve trusted me to listen to your stories and hold space for you as you all navigate through your own journeys with PsA.

I can honestly say my experience with PsA would have been a little more difficult and a whole lot more lonely without all of you who have consistently reminded me, day after day, that I’m not alone in my grief or my pain or my bad days.

With the holidays coming up, and as a small way to say thank you, I thought it might be fun to share with you a list of products I’ve been loving, that I use every day, and/or that I have on my own holiday wish list this season. These products are not PsA-specific, though I have included a couple of cute “chronic-illness-flavored” shirts from Amazon that I would love to wear proudly out in the world along with you all!

I’m actually hoping this list can give us each a small break from thinking about and dealing with our PsA for a moment or two. The pain and fatigue that come with PsA are demanding and loud enough and consume too much of our days as it is.

As you scroll through this list, I hope you can grab your favorite heating pad, turn on your favorite music, light your favorite candle, and enjoy the thought of getting one or more of these items as a gift from or for your favorite humans. Thank you for everything this year.

XO Jenny

Comfy everyday clothes and bags

Pander Store Everywhere Belt Bag: I am in LOVE with this Lululemon belt bag dupe! I’m someone who struggles with carrying a purse around. If I put it down somewhere, I’ll totally forget it. For a lot of us with PsA, finger pains can make carrying bags a little difficult, too. The thing I love about this is that it just straps right across your chest. It’s cute, and no holding is necessary!

Nirovien Oversized Sleeveless Jumpsuit: Cute AND comfy. My favorite combo! If I get this for the holidays, I’m totally living in it for the foreseeable future!

Amazon Essentials Women’s Slim-Fit Tank, Pack of 2: This is a great option to wear underneath the oversized sleeveless jumpsuit!

Dokotoo Color Block Button Down Shirt: Anyone else a sucker for pastels?! I love this color combo and the oversized style.

Sunzel High-Waisted Flare Leggings with Tummy Control: You can pair it with the button-down shirt above!

Cute chronic-illness-specific clothes

Something I’d love to start doing is dressing up for my rheumatology appointments … in PsA- and/or chronic-condition-inspired clothing. Here are some of my favorites!

Shoes

Converse Women’s Chuck Taylor All Star Sneakers: I’m a Converse girly through and through and always have been. I love the platform on these for style and an added bonus (and a very important one when you live with PsA). The bonus is that these are SO comfy!

On Cloudrunner Shoes: My BEST and most supportive shoe for arthritis. I wear these to work and at the gym.

These shoes get me through long days on my feet at work. Ever since being diagnosed with PsA, it’s been so important for me to wear supportive shoes at work and at the gym. These are my favorites, and I wish I had 100 pairs!

Beauty products

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush: I love this liquid blush! It’s super pigmented, so a little goes a really, really long way. My favorite shade is Hope!

Rare Beauty Illuminating Primer: I love it when my skin looks glow-y! Rare Beauty nailed it with this illuminating primer. I like to mix it with my tinted moisturizer!

EltaMD UV Physical Tinted Face Sunscreen: I found this amazing product at the dermatology clinic where I work! I LOVE how it feels on my skin. It’s super lightweight, doesn’t clog my pores, and I very much appreciate the added bonus that it protects my skin from the sun!

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue with SPF 30: This is my tried and true tinted moisturizer and has been for years! I love that it is SPF 30 for sun protection and that it feels weightless and light on my skin.

bareMinerals Original Loose Powder Foundation SPF 15: This pairs well with the tinted moisturizer above and is what you’ll find me wearing daily!

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Face Wipes: Of course, we can’t talk about makeup without talking about my favorite product for taking it off! These face wipes are a must-have for me!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: I love this lip mask! Great for hydrating my lips before bed, but I also love wearing it along with my favorite lipstick for a little extra shine!

Batiste Dry Shampoo: My very favorite dry shampoo! The smell isn’t too strong, and I love the way it leaves my hair looking and smelling fresh, even when I haven’t washed it in a few days. It’s so great for those of us who deal with chronic fatigue and/or pain and don’t want to deal with the hassle of shampooing and conditioning our hair every single day!

Practical idea

Stanley Adventure Quencher Travel Tumbler: I would be lost without my Stanley. I struggle to drink water, and for some reason, when my Stanley is around, I don’t struggle as much. It must be more fun for my brain to drink out of a fun cup!

I hope this list helps offer a little inspiration for your holiday gifting. What’s on your holiday wish list? Let us know on the Bezzy app. We’ll have a live chat about holiday wish lists on Monday, December 11.
